the singareni collieries company is planning the kalyani khani-6 incline underground coal mining project near villages sankarpalli and sandrapalli, dist. adilabad, telangana. the project is waiting for forest clearance. mining work is expected to commence in 2018. according to moef sources, the normative capacity is 0.80 mtpa and the peak capacity is 1.23 mtpa. mining lease area is 421.61 hectares. the estimated cost of the project is rs. 6,517.5 million. method of mining will be bord and pillar. life of the mine is 19 years.
