ultratech cement is planning a 3.5 mtpa greenfield integrated cement plant in dist. dhar, madhya pradesh. the estimated cost of the project is rs. 26,000 million. the project has been approved by the companys board on 21st january, 2017. commercial production of the new plant is expected to start in q4 fy19. with this expansion and the acquisition of the cement plants of jaiprakash associates, the companys cement capacity will stand augmented to 95 mtpa including its overseas operations.
