ntpc is planning an 8 mw solar pv power project at village chidiyatapu, south andaman in the ut of andaman and nicobar. online bids (domestic competitive bidding) have been invited on single stage two envelope basis with reverse auction for development of project using pv cells and modules from any source (non-dcr/ open category). the scope of the work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of grid connected capacity of 8 mw solar pv project on turnkey basis with comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 5 years from the date of successful completion of trial run. ntpc intends to finance the package through dcb/ ecb. documents can be downloaded till 4th november, 2016. the last date for submission of bids is 4th november, 2016.
