national highways authority of india is planning to upgrade the barhi-koderma section in jharkhand. request for proposal (rfps) have been floated for 4-laning of the barhi-koderma section of nh-31 from km 0.000 to km 27.500 in jharkhand under nhdp phase -iv on engineering, procurement & construction (epc) mode. the estimated cost of the tender work is rs. 2,734.6 million. the scope of work will broadly include rehabilitation, upgradation and augmentation of the existing carriageway to four-lane with paved shoulders standards with construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, etc. and maintenance of the project during the defect liability period, which shall be 4 years. documents can be downloaded till 13th september, 2017. the last date for online submission of bids is 13th september, 2017. the completion period is 2 years & maintenance period is 4 years.
