j g foundry is implementing a 48,000 tpa ms billets manufacturing unit at village chimochak, dist. patna, bihar in the existing plant premises. the project will entail an addition of 2 nos. of 8 mt induction furnace each for production of 48,000 tpa ms billets into the existing 28,800 tpa ms ingot/billet plant. the estimated cost of the project is rs. 117.224 million. the project has been applied for environmental clearance. contractors has been appointed. machinery has been procured locally. civil work is in progress. the project is scheduled for completion in august 2017. the company also intends to set up a rolling mill in the next 1.5 years, based on the market condition. according to moef sources, total land area is 9,914.79 sq. mtrs under leasehold basis. ample space is available for plant expansion and setting up of additional induction furnace within the existing premises.
