bharat coking coal is planning the bhojudih nlw coal washery at bhojudih, dist. purulia, west bengal on existing land. the estimated land area is 15 hectares. the project cost is estimated to be rs. 1,522 million. the project is waiting for environmental clearance and is planned for completion in 18 months from zero date. according to moef sources, the new railway siding arrangement for receipt of raw coal and dispatch of washery products i.e. metallurgical coal, washed coal (power) & rejects shall be developed by the company through suitable modification/extension of the existing railway siding.
