bharat coking coal, a subsidiary of coal india, is planning the 2.5 mtpa dugda nlw coal washery at dugda, dist. bokaro, jharkhand. online rfq & rfp have been invited for the project on build-operate-maintain (bom basis). the project will come up in the vicinity of the existing dugda coal washery. the work consists of planning, design & engineering, selection of necessary equipment & machinery, procurement, delivery, erection/ installation along with all associated civil & structural works, testing, successful commissioning of coal washing plant including performance guarantee tests (pgt) with two years critical spares, works required for completion of entire project and all allied activities and subsequent operation & maintenance for supply of washed/ clean coal, washed coal (power) & rejects of requisite quality to bccls customers through fast loading hoppers on bom concept. bccl will provide the capital funding for setting up the washery and other infra-structural facilities like land, water, power etc. the construction period is 18 months from the date of signing the contract. operation & maintenance period is 10 years. bharat coking coal is planning the bhojudih nlw coal washery at bhojudih, dist. purulia, west bengal on existing land. the estimated land area is 15 hectares. the project cost is estimated to be rs. 1,522 million. the project is waiting for environmental clearance and is planned for completion in 18 months from zero date. according to moef sources, the new railway siding arrangement for receipt of raw coal and dispatch of washery products i.e. metallurgical coal, washed coal (power) & rejects shall be developed by the company through suitable modification/extension of the existing railway siding.
