earth filling at sitarganj-earth filling, from outside hpc, building work/civil, lpg projects: supplying and filling of earth/soil/river bed material of approved quality from borrow pits outside hpcl for all leads with plasticity index not greater than 21; containing not more than 20 cohesive fines namely clay and max. dry density (mdd) of not less than 1.50 gms/cc, including excavation at borrow pits outside plant premises; payment of royalty to owner of borrow pit, if applicable; payment of applicable royalties, taxes, etc. to statutory authority for operating the borrow pit; loading at borrow pit end; transportation from borrow pit to hpcl premises; removing debris, organic matter, breaking clods, etc.; spreading in layers not exceeding 200 mm compacted thickness; dewatering during course of filling if required, watering, compaction with 8-10 mt vibro-compactor to obtain 95 of standard proctor maximum laboratory dry density and finishing to slopes and grades as per drawings all complete as per specifications and instructions of hpcl engineer-in-charge. rate shall be applicable for all depths below ffl. quoted rates are deemed to include providing dewatering pump for dewatering if required; conducting initial laboratory tests on samples and subsequent in-situ dry density/omc tests
