zuari agro chemicals, a part of the adventz group of companies, proposes a fertilizer blending unit at village sancoale, dist. south goa, goa. the current status of the project could not be ascertained. according to moef sources, kadam environmental consultants, vadodara is the environmental consultant. the project will entail 1) 30 tph customized blending plant- 30 tph customized npk grade fertilizer 2) gt: 25 mw along with mp steam (37 kg/cm2g) 3) hrsg: unfired capacity of 50 tph (70 tph with supplementary firing) 4) aast: 1x5000 mt atmospheric ammonia storage tank 5) urea granulation unit: expansion of urea production from 1500 tpd to 1800 tpd 6) urea prilling: 1200 tpd & urea granulation unit 600 tpd. the estimated total cost of the project is rs. 7,886 million. the cost split-up is as: rs. 500 million for the customized plant, rs. 2,000 million for the steam power generation, rs. 400 million for atmospheric ammonia storage tank and rs. 4,986 million for urea granulation plant. the project will be funded through a 1.5:1 debt:equity ratio. steam power generation is by gt & hrsg (spg) using ng as a fuel which is interlinked and interdependent project for fertilizer production. total power requirement of 2 mw will be sourced through gt. sewage treatment plant will be installed.
