wonder cement is planning a 2-phase 2x2 mtpa clinker grinding unit at village jatoda, dist. dhule, maharashtra. each phase will entail 2 mtpa. a power plant may come up in future. the project will come up on 44.11 hectares of acquired land. the estimated total cost of the project is rs. 6,820 million, out of which, rs. 3,500 million will be invested for phase-i & rs. 3,320 million for phase-ii. power requirement of 14 mw for phase-i and 12 mw for phase-ii will be sourced from state grid. a 6.5 mw dg set is proposed. equipment suppliers & contractors are yet to be appointed. enviro techno consultant is the environmental consultant. the project is waiting for environmental clearance.
