wonder cement proposes a 5 mtpa mechanized opencast limestone mining project at villages karunda, payri, dhanora, maliya khedi, tehsil nimbahera, dist. chittorgarh, rajasthan on 255.0032 hectares leased land. the estimated cost of the project is rs. 440 million. the current status of the project could not be ascertained. according to the pre-feasiblity report filed in moef, total power requirement of proposed project will be 1.5 mw. limestone will be only utilized in the captive cement plant at karunda. limestone will be transported from mine up to the crusher in the mines by using dumpers and from crusher to cement plant by covered belt conveyor. green belt will be developed in earmarked area within the premises.
