tripura state electricity corporation is planning a 132 kv d/c transmission line from kailasahar (dist. unakoti) to dharmanagar (dist. north tripura), tripura. this project is a part of north eastern region power system improvement project (nerpsip) project. the estimated cost of the project is rs. 160 million. the project is waiting for forest clearance. work on the project is expected to commence in december 2017.
