the kerala ceramics is planning to revamp its kaolin refining plant at kundara, dist. kollam, kerala. online tenders have been floated for revamping of kaolin refining plant (under two cover system). the scope of the work involve system design, layout finalizing to facilitate easy flow of material, equipment selection, sizing, supply, erection/ commissioning and training operating and maintenance personnel. revamping of blunger section and refining section: capacity to handle 10 tph raw matrix in to blunger section. output quality requirement is 0.05 (-300 mesh) grit (on dry basis) in the product slurry at the outlet of refining section. revamping of filteration section: capacity to produce 60 tpd dried product & output quality requirement is 28 -30 moisture (max). revamping of spray drier section: capacity to 2 tph minimum at 65 solids in feed slurry & requirement 1.) less than 1 moisture in the spray dried product, 2.) 55 litres of hsd (max) consumption per ton of dried product, 3.) exhaust emission should be less than 100ppm per nm3 of flue gas. the document sale end date and last date for submission of tender document is on 7th september, 2017. the project is scheduled for completion of the work is 8 months from the date of issue of firm order.
