south eastern coalfields (secl) is planning the 5 mtpa baroud coal washery (dry basis) at village baroud, dist. raigarh, chhattisgarh. online rfq and rfp has been invited for the project on build-operate-maintain (bom) basis under three-cover system. the work consists of planning, design & engineering, selection of necessary equipment and machinery, procurement, delivery, erection/ installation along with all associated civil and structural works, testing, successful commissioning of coal washing plant including pgt with two years critical spares for smooth operation of the plant, works required for completion of the entire project and all allied activities as well as its subsequent operation & maintenance to produce washed coal of requisite quality & quantity, conveying of washed and rejects by belt conveyors to separate silos for loading into railway wagons at railway siding through separate rapid loading systems. secl will provide the capital funding for set-up of washery and also other infrastructural facilities like land, water, power etc. documents can be downloaded till 19th december, 2016. the last date for online submission of bids is 19th december, 2016. period of completion is 18 months (including pgt) from the date of signing of the contract. the operation and maintenance period is 10 years with provision of renewal of the contract.
