satia industries is implementing an expansion of its rice husk-based cpp at village rupana, dist. sri muktsar sahib, punjab from 5 mw to 12.5 mw. the project is coming up along with its writing and printing paper expansion. the total project is estimated to cost more than rs. 1,000 million. machinery has been procured locally and partially imported. environmental clearance is yet to be received. civil work and machinery erection is in progress. the project is scheduled for completion by 2015.
