satia industries is implementing an expansion of its writing & printing paper manufacturing project & rice husk-based cpp at village rupana, dist. sri muktsar sahib, punjab. the capacity of the writing & printing paper unit will be augmented from 60 tpd to 150 tpd & the power project from 5 mw to 12.5 mw. the total project is estimated to cost more than rs. 1000 million. machinery has been procured locally and partially imported. environmental clearance is yet to be received. civil work and machinery erection is in progress. the project is scheduled for completion by 2015.
