ntpc is implementing the 50 mw rojmal wind power plant at village rojmal, dist. bhavnagar, gujarat. the company board had approved its first wind energy project to be set up at a cost of rs. 3,233.5 million & inox wind had bagged an order for setting up the project on turnkey basis in december 2016. based on the contract inox wind will supply & install 25 units of its advanced 2 mw dfig 100 rotor diameter wind turbine generators. out of 50 mw, 2 mw has been commissioned in april 2017 and the remaining is under construction.
