northeast frontier railway is planning doubling of a railway line between new maynaguri & gumanihat in west bengal. the length is 51.65 km. the anticipated cost of the project is rs. 6,022.7 million with completion cost of rs. 6,481.9 million. the project is proposed to be funded through gross budgetary support. the ministry of railways has approved the project. the project is planned for completion by 2021-22.
