national highways & infrastructure development corporation is planning development of the khowai-agartala road in tripura. this is part of the bharat mala project (bmp). the road length is 53 kms. the total project cost (including la) is rs. 4,240 million. financial bid was opened in june 2016. mc consultant is identified as h1 bidder. contract negotiation is in progress. the project is in planning stage.
