kochi metro rail is planning to construct a residential-cum-commercial project at village kakkanad, dist. ernakulam, kerala. the project is waiting for environmental clearance. work will start after the receipt of clearance. according to moef sources, total plot area is 75,556 sq. mtrs and the total built-up area is 364,074 sq. mtrs. the project will comprise of 2,502 apartments. power will be sourced from kerala state electricity board (kseb). the estimated cost of the project is rs. 6,480 million. onsite stp will be installed.
