divyajyoti steels is planning an integrated mini steel plant at village taranagar, dist. bellary, karnataka. the project will consist of a 3.0 mtpa mini steel plant, a 0.6 mtpa iron ore beneficiation plant, a 0.4 mtpa iron ore pelletisation plant, and a 14 mw coal-based power project. the project entails an investment of rs. 10.5 billion. 300 acres of land has been acquired. the project is waiting for environmental clearance and pollution clearance. work on the project will commence in october 2013.
